Mantels come in all shapes and sizes. Natural-edge or “live-edge” mantels have become popular in recent years, but we also craft custom, solid wood slab and “box”-style mantels in our shop. We can craft a mantel from any wood in any style you desire.

WALKING YOU THROUGH THE DESIGN PROCESS TO MAKE YOUR VISION A REALITY

You’re welcome to bring photos of mantels you’ve seen in books or magazines or you can simply walk in and start the design process with us from scratch.

Our team of designers, many of them students of the UTSA school of architecture, led by JR Huebinger, an LSU architecture graduate, will guide you through the process, step by step.

The first step is often measuring the site. From there, we ask key questions to determine what styles and influences you like and what suits the project at hand. We then produce sketches of the finished product.

From there, the work begins in the shop. The process usually takes two to three weeks from start to delivery. We can recommend an expert for the final finishing and installation.

READYMADE MANTELS ARE WAITING FOR YOU TO TAKE THEM HOME

We also keep many simple mantels ready to walk out the door for easy installation. These can be dressed up further with corbels or brackets that can be attached from inside and actually hang from the mantel.
